Man, that was a rough watch. Accuracy was all over the place, shoddy field vision, forced throws, etc. The running stuff is cool, but that should be supplementary to the throwing. A throwing first and foremost is what Kyle is looking for.

Whoever drafts this dude better feel secure about their job because they're taking a massive gamble. I like Trey Lance's tools a lot, but damn, the lack of reps makes drafting him in the first feel a bit crazy. As of right now, I don't think it'll be the 49ers.

Yes, I changed my mind, don't want Lance in the 1st round, maybe in the 2nd rd

SEE, this is why I really can't see MYSELF taking him in the 1st round... I mean, he didn't look AMAZING his full year playing, then he didn't play but one game this year... so everything we saw was nothing but his RAW talent... again, you almost have to have a guy like Grappy in front of him where we can actually be patient until 3rd year.. but by then, where is he going to be??
Give me this guy at 15

This guy is not ready for the NFL. He's drop back and run and inaccurate. Plus he has Akili Smith level experience. He will cost a GM his job.

I see you saw the one game he played this year 😉

In his one full season he actually showed really good ball placement. Plus, he can't help that the OC loved calling designed QB runs.

I personally watched several of his games and for the life of me can't figure out the love for him. It was more than just his one game this year
Whoops

He's got great size and all the athletic/throwing ability you could ask for. Plus, he played in a pro style offense and played good football.
Whoops wrong thread

Who starts at QB in that scenario? Lance? If so, count me out.

I don't doubt Lance's talent or his potential. But throwing a very inexperienced rookie QB behind our OL could be a recipe for disaster. If we're going to draft Lance, I'd prefer to sit him for a year behind a vet.

Rolling with a guy who was a one year starter in the FCS isn't exactly ideal. Lance would be unprecedented in that not only was he only a starter for a season, he only played college football for a season period.
Not a fan of this guy in the first. He has the tools, but he isnt very accurate. Watched him, Fields, Fields, and Wilson back to back with a couple friends and he really looked bad comparatively.
