You're the one claiming to KNOW the leaks are accurate so the burden of proof is on you to give evidence. And since you're not in the draft war room with Kyle and John there's no possible way you could have any evidence.
You claim it's something "so simple" yet I truly believe you're confused.
edit: and for the record I'm not saying it's untrue I asked how do you know it's true? Because the obvious answer is no one does.
Also sometimes "leaks" are intentional

I think it's Lance. A lot of signs are pointing towards the broncos trading down or drafting slater according to allbright. He nailed the teddy trade so ill give him the benefit of the doubt.

Well yeah there's that and there's plenty of reasons why media members would make up narratives with no evidence. Why? Because they do it every single year where they claim a team is hot for a certain player and then the draft comes and they select someone else.
It does the media and the NFL draft no good to say,"well the 49ers have been completely silent so we'll have to wait 4 months". And it does the teams no good to come out and tell reporters who they want to draft. At the end of the day the media has to create things to talk about and that's exactly what they've been doing year after year.
Even if the 49ers draft Mac Jones that doesn't mean the media was privy to any evidence it just means they guessed right.
It's crazy to me that this is even a debate one day before the draft.

Well I think it stands to reason that if I believe we shouldn't look too hard at the CA game for Lance that Fields can be forgiven a couple bad games in 2020. I mean I literally have Lance ranked 2A and Fields ranked 2B (I feel like I'm allowed a preference) so it's not that I dislike Fields. I don't dislike Jones either but the trade to #3 makes no sense to me if he's the target. Ceiling is too low for that much investment IMO.
You literally said you had him as a 5th rounder based on that game, how can he be your 2B?

1. Bullet pass incomplete

3. Strip sack fumble
Great choice. The only game he was able to play in 2020 and he couldn't practice because he had to quarantine for 10 days since his roommate tested positive for COVID. I watched Field's NorthWestern game to evaluate him and he's a 5th round pick. Dude is terrible threw for 114 yards.

If so then I hope they make another move to acquire a veteran QB if they are deadset on trading Jimmy G. Give me Minshew, would love to see that guy in Shanahan's offense as a bridge QB/long term backup.

I think there is a shot we keep Jimmy. Gotta have a suitor. If the Patriots trade up or draft a qb, who else would trade for him?

I have taken s**ts that could provide more credible sports analysis than Colin f**king Cowherd.
You are missing the point. Forget about Collin Cowherd, the point is there have already been leaks that both Lynch and Peters much prefer Trey Lance. In other words, the situation that we are currently faced with is a case of Kyle Shanahan vs pretty much the entire 49ers organization, especially the front office.
The only way this potential disaster can be averted is if Jed York could intervene and override Kyle Shanahan, is really as simple as that.
Or the leaks aren't real. Not a lot of reason to believe these so called "leaks".
There are wide spread reports on the leaks. This didn't just happen now, Lynch's leak happened weeks ago and Peters' more recently.
Mike Lombardi pounded the table long ago that it was between Jones and Lance. He even doubled down on it. To date, the reporting has only gotten stronger. As for Lynch and Peter's strong preferences, they had to get it on the record for obvious reasons. We shall find out soon enough.
Other than that, you can choose what to or not to believe.
None of that is a reason to believe the so called leaks are real. If all these experts and insiders know so much about what this team is thinking, why didn't they tell us we were sniffing around a trade up before we did?
They didn't know before but they know now? Not buying it.
Did I say the media knew about the trading up? No, I didn't.
But, circumstances have changed since as Kyle Shanahan and the front office have ended up on the opposite ends of the spectrum when it comes to Mac Jones. And if Shanahan really has the ultimate say, then it makes absolute perfect sense that either Lynch or Peters would leak it. If I were them I would leak it myself. Why would they do so? Simple, would you want your own reputation and career to be tainted by such a lame move in taking Mac Jones?!
Boy you really buy into fiction hard eh?
You have no proof it is fiction.
Dude your line of reasoning is baffling to me.
We don't have any proof it's fiction you're right.
But someone reporting doesn't make it true so how do you KNOW there was any leaks?
#epsteinkilledhimself
Something so simple is baffling to you? Now that is indeed baffling. LOL.
If someone reports on something, to claim it is untrue, don't you think you would need proof as opposed to just saying point blank it is untrue?
I tell you what though. If I was Mike Lombardi and if I have been making up BS from day one, I don't think I would have come out and doubled down on it. Just common sense. I don't know what makes him so sure it was down to Jones and Lance. But, I guess we will find out soon enough.
I'm sorry but you just don't understand what the burden of proof is. A report may or may not be true and as you just said," I don't think" meaning you don't know for a fact the report is accurate which already contradicts yourself.

I am sorry, I don't have to bear any burden of proof.
I have read the various reports out there and so have you. I choose to agree with some of them which is what I have been saying it here.
I didn't ask for your opinion or force you to agree with my position. But, nevertheless you chose to opine on it, then the burden to disprove the report is on you.
Other that that, you can ignore my posts and choose to agree to disagree with me. I don't have a problem with that.

If the Pick was Lance. I think Keeping Jimmy and starting him in week 1 would be the smartest move. That being said I honestly don't believe we are drafting Lance. I think Kyle cares too much about the tape on players to draft Lance.

Actually your reputation and career do become tainted by being labeled as a leaker and a guy who puts his own interests in front of the franchises. And leaking that just creates tension between the FO and Kyle.
I don't buy that either.
Nobody knows s**t about the circumstances, everyone is guessing.
LOL. Creating tension between the FO and Shanahan? The frigging tension was long created when Kyle Shanahan decided not to listen to the the front office. Adam Peters is no slouch, he is Assistant GM. His words carry weight. Otherwise, why bother having a front office? Peters and Lynch have to make known that they know how to evaluate talent and no way would they push for spending 2 x 1st and 1 x 3rd in moving up to #3 to take a player like Mac Jones.
It is really awesome how you were in the room to hear all these conversations first hand and speak with such conviction.
It is equally awesome how you were in the room to hear none of that happened first hand with such conviction.
I'm not the one here spinning yarns about how the whole staff has knives out because Kyle is an ego driven dictator.
Just because you don't like someone's take on something, you call it "spinning yarns"? Nice.
If that is the case, then I think you are quite out of touch with the current sentiments of a good portion of the fan base.
Far from it, I don't want Jones at all....but the narrative you people making up is beyond stupid.
I see, so the moment you don't agree with someone on something you call the person stupid. Nice.
