Trey Lance QB NDSU

I do. We won a damn playoff game with Jimmy throwing less than 10 times lmfao.

So we running for 300 yards per game right out of the gate? That's not even considering all the nuances and aspects of the pro game that Lance has to get settled into. Unless you are willing to accept a trial by fire and put up with any w/l record that comes our way.
I hope we get the 46.

He's only started 17 games (1 yr starter), the same number of games as Trey Lance

Philly only moved down bc SF set off a chain reaction of events

I hate that lazy narrative saying just get #6

So what Philly wouldn't have agreed to move down to the same spot if SF asked to trade? There's nothing lazy about that...it literally happened

Philly wanted a QB and was waiting to see if any fell to their spot

SF moving to 3 signalled a race for the remaining QBs leaving Philly on the outside looking in

They said F it and took the deal

I would rather take lance and start Rosen or Sudfeld for half the season then draft Jones just because Jimmy was traded.

Why is he the most pro ready? He's played 17 games

Just what I hear from the analyst mumble. Between Jones and Lance, Jones is the more ready prospect.

Do you realize all of these rookie qbs are gonna have to settle into the nuances and aspects of the pro game? Last time I checked none of these guys have plays a single nfl game. Why do we have to run 300 yards to win the game? Trey is gonna be a 1st round for a reason. He is, like all other qbs, are capable of starting day 1. That narrative of having to sit and learn is overrated. He's been sitting on his ass for a long time, 1 game in 15 months, he needs to play with live bullets.

They wanted Wilson and the Jets said no...that was it. There's absolutely no reason SF couldn't have moved to 6 to get Jones if that was the plan. None

Every analyst also said rosen was ready day 1. Even I was on the rosen hype train. What makes him more pro ready than the others? Trey Lance played in a pro style offense, had pre snap responsibilities like calling protection, and he spent a lot of the time studying nfl defenses. Plus I think Kyle as an offensive genius can get him ready to play week 1.

This report about NE trying to trade for #10 on the same day another report says they're trying to trade up for Justin Fields.

What the hell is going on???????

Reporters are just throwing s**t at the wall and hoping they stick. The 49ers literally f**ked up the draft hahaha

Lance ran a more pro offense then any of these guys...he was calling protections, he was getting half the play then changing the play at the LOs based on the pre snap coverage. He was calling out lengthy play calls. He was going into huddles. He was taking snaps under center.

dude was basically running the same offense that we run.

You don't think SEC talent vs D2 talent makes a giant difference?

I'm going by your reasonings. You think Trey can step right in, and by the sounds of it, SF doesn't skip a beat because they won a playoff game where Garoppolo threw very little. They threw very little because....they ran Green Bay into the dirt.

That he's been sitting has nothing to do with the step up from the college level he was at, to the pros.
