Can you guys tell, I can't sleep thinking about the #3 pick? LOL. It's 5:00AM east coast time now and in twelve hours, 25 percent of the 49ers faithful will be very happy!

Again go look at what Jimmy did in his offense...I'm pretty sure Lance can throw some slants, hand the ball off 30x, toss some shovel passes and throw to his 1st read 70+ percent of the time. I'd say mentally he's there, just needs live reps.

In a ideal world you let ALL these dudes sit. Not sure SF is gonna do that y of the pick

If he's the pick he should start IMO. You don't trade up that much to let him ride the pine.

Yeah for me I'm all about the Smith/Mahomes situation...I would rather let Jimmy play and build up that trade value, not sell him for pennies on the dollar at the worst possible time.

But I get letting the rookie get snaps and taking full advantage of that cheap contract.

They will have to find a legit backup still though....we're in the same situation if the rookie gets hurt that we were when Jimmy did. I want a better QB room.

I prefer Jimmy to play this year and have Lance sit but I don't mind the Kap situation where you put him in for some packages. But if they trade Jimmy they need to do much better at backup than Rosen and Sudfeld MUCH better

Peter Schrager this AM says NOT a single person knows who they're picking...he's said for weeks he's being saying Jones BUT Lance has really become a legit possibility and they haven't told anyone, not anyone up until now.

None of he is players will know he's the pick until the card has been handed in.

it's weird to me that it's between Lance/Jones and it's been Jones for weeks when he just admitted no one that's actually involved with picking has said anything yet those are the names?

Trust no one, including Shanny himself because he did not sleep much last night thinking about the future like series of flashes in his eyes on how his decision is going to affect everyone involved. So yeah, it will be like in the movies, the climax will surprise everyone! He should pray and ask for guidance, that he makes the right one, for us all!

Sorry my mistake! It's Collinsworth who said that. King did say the same, nobody really knows.
