He played under center and such. Believe it or not he will have an easier adjustment then Fields.

He played like 50 or 60 more snaps under center. We're not talking about a massive gap.

The kid is brilliant. The league is about to get tomahawk dunked if true

Called his own protections and pass plays were right out of Shanny's playbook

If the pick is not Fields, I think it's because Kyle and the scouting staff believe he doesn't sees the field well enough. I know it's a criticism that some people don't like, but I've watched breakdowns from multiple sources that talk about it and I think there's validity to it.

I don't think it's necessarily the under center thing but you have to understand that there's a connection there as well. When you have to turn your back to the defense, seeing the field just got even more difficult.

And how is that different from Fields and Jones? All of these QBs played in offenses that utilized pro style concepts. Ryan Day had multiple NFL coaching stints and Sarkisian was calling plays that literally came from Shanahans actual playbook.

I believe nothing....but if I was going to start to buy in to media it would be today. We are getting so close go time now that some things, preparative moves if you have to be made, and with that comes paper trails and third parties that could spill the tea. Kids are going to be told to be near the phone, agents are going to be told to be ready for the call....
We really taking this kid over fields

I mean I agree that Lance is green but it does matter. Ohio state used a lot of choice routes and deep seams, stuff we don't really do. So Fields is going to hold the ball longer at first and maybe take a little longer to diagnose what he is seeing. Bama had a ton of passes behind the LOS, LOTS of screens etc. We do throw to the backs but not by an means what I would call a lot. Just as very minor examples....to say nothing of having a leg up on terminology, route combos, a feel where guys are supposed to be on a given call. It is a really viable notch in Lance's favor.

Jones played more in the shotgun than Lance did. NDSU played an offensive scheme that was much more like what Kyle uses including using a fullback. It's the reason I think Lance may be able to pick up Kyle's offense quicker. But what do I know. They might shock us all, trade back and take Trask.

I just dont buy this about Fields. I know folks are saying it. He been a top QB prospect for years now. Now all of a sudden he doesnt see the field. Sounds kinda crazy to me personally. Ive also watched breakdowns showing Lance has awful accuracy. Bad mechanics etc. None of these kids are perfect and to me Fields has looked the best. Even in matchups with Lawrence, its been Fields that shined. So im just puzzled and i think over analyzing has happened. Cuz Lance and definitely not Mac should get drafted higher than Fields based on their college careers.

His processor is better than Jones'. He can be a fullback at the 5 yard line. It's not really close. 55 yarder going the other way
