Pretty sure they won lol. But I'm sure Mac Jones could have made every single one of those plays that Allen did
Hell Ill take Bradys pocket awareness too...up back side to side...SMDH. It's frustrating to see all these QBs evade pressure and make plays...DOWN THE FIELD. I can recall JG only doing that a handful of times ...in the handful of games he played for us...SMDH. Hell even the kid off the street for Wash was making s**t happen.

Even before Jimmy G was playing "shook" like he has been recently, he wasn't really manuevering the pocket and evading, but rather relying on his elite release speed to get the ball out before eating a hit. It seems he likely ate one too many, however.

Trey has got to be our pick at #12. Sit him a year or two behind Jimmy. This guy is DeShawn Watson with a better arm and legs.

That's a hell of a statement. I hope you're right, especially if we pick him! I'm not sure about the arm, I remember Deshawn throwing the ball 60+ in the air at the end of a half once...plus he's roped some balls in some tight windows....15 yard square in, on the numbers to DHop....now legs? Probably, Watson is mobile but not mobile in the current NFL climate.
This might be the biggest boom or bust pick ever. He is so hard to evaluate. He makes one read and either throws or runs. There will be a lot of bad before a lot of good.

Just HONESTLY wondering, where everyone including yourself are basing this from ?

Is it the ONE game he played this year, or the season he had the year before?

I'm sorry, I just don't find them enough to put him in the 1st round ..

NCAA had a situation like this when Penn State's young QB in Christian Hackenberg played so well in his 1st year that he was supposed to be the NEXT big name in college football..

... HAD he sat out the following years, everyone would have had him TOP 5..

.. WE also already witness and still witnessing how NOT ENOUGH games in college can be... just look at Gabbert and Trubisky..

My thing is.... if you have to have a caveat of sitting him a year or two, is he really worth the #12 pick?

Worked out for Aaron Rodgers
This team is not at the boom or bust stage. They have the pieces in place, move up for a top pick or trade for an established vet. The #12 pick is too valuable to risk on someone that may or may not pan out in 3 or 4 years. This team is playing for now.

And Mahomes, he speaks really positively about Alex Smith and everything he learned during his red shirt year in KC.

Just by looking at his tape - he's got everything in his game. He could bust, but so can all of the other QBs.

BUT you can at least say that you saw ENOUGH of Aaron in college to say that he's worth being drafted in the 1st round.. or even 1st overall pick..

LOL First of all its Deshaun. Secondly. Really? Tell me Mayo. How many games have you watched him play. Lets actually watch him play before saying he is Watson or better.
