Hero, I think this may be our first significant draft prospect discrepancy. There will be no Stokes slander on this board. He's my CB4. He may not have elite short area quickness and yes he's slight, but he's physical, he has length, and he plays smart. He's definitely not a poor athlete either, he ran 10.3x 100m in HS and I want to say he was tops in the 200m as well.
Hahaha, I got it. Truthfully, I haven't "studied" Stokes. I rewatched Kyle Trask light up Georgia the other day, so I wasn't really impressed with anyone in their secondary. I'll give him a watch.
I don't really like trying to evaluate corners without the all-22. It's so hard to do them justice without being able to see the safeties, determine the coverage and then evaluate based on their assignment. I do think CB is probably the most trait-dependent position in the game. Speed and COD, especially in a man-heavy scheme, are essential. Another problem is we don't know if DeMeco plans to stay a heavy zone guy or transition to more man. DeMeco brought in Bettcher, who is a man guy. Maybe he wants to mix it up more or possibly even transition altogether. If we going to play more man, they're definitely going to have to invest draft resources in the position,
