In these situations you have to trust your coaches and the kid, from what I've seen he's going to work his butt off.
I know the guy that NY posted quotes and interviews from worked with him, but though he may embellish or fluff his protégé, it's bad for his reputation to flat out lie.
Yeah I mean Quincy Avery knows his s**t, he also had no problem pointing out Watson (another of his clients) had no clue what he was doing early in his career, the fact that he was athletic and could make plays out of structure helped him while he was still learning the nuances of the game.
If Lance is sitting there at 6 or 7 I'd have no problem giving up a 3rd and a 2022 1st....use our 2nd to move down and recoup some picks and get some legit talent in this deep draft class.
like you said gotta have trust in the coaching staff and put talent around him.
