Yeah, the best CB, TE or WR can fall to us if all the QB's go early.

I mean what's a massive trade up? I don't see moving to say 7 as a massive trade up...I don't see Lance going any sooner than that.
teams ahead of us are pretty bad and need starters or extra picks because they're gonna need players (cap issues). Philly/lions fall in that category....every draft the media/fans prop up the QB prospects and every yr a couple of them drop further than we expect.
SF can afford to take a QB and let him sit for a yr if they have too. I also feel like CAR is all in on getting Watson, their owner is obsessed with getting a elite QB to make them somewhat relevant. He can play the waiting game, Ruhle has a 7 yr contract (and it's the owner making this decision).
so Imo I think it's silly to say they have no chance at getting him.

It's a lot cheaper than a Watson trade. I think Lance goes in the 5-7 range, so your right, it's not a massive trade up.

Want in on the bet Mayo?!
There are too many risk factors for most NFL teams, the earliest I could imagine is 8 to the Panthers as they do things differently, but I believe they're sold on Jones, plus they should pick Pitts.

In your scenario Pitts falls to us. I'd love to get Pitts, but most likely it's going to be a more pressing need.

I mean he went 10th overall to the ideal situation? It's kinda the same scenario where he shouldn't be a day 1 starter like Mahomes.
I remember when Rogers, big ben, Quinn etc all feel. I remember when top scouts had kizer as a top 2 QB (didn't go until 2nd rd).
point is no one truly knows lol.
My #NFL draft report on North Dakota State QB Trey Lance (based on tape study only).

Wilson Lawrence and Lance will be the first 3 QB's off the board imo
