That would be nuts. I saw a mock that actually had JOK fall to the 2nd, but I would absolutely take him at 15 if this somehow fell that way.

JOK, Horn, or Ojulari. I'd be thrilled with either at 15 if NE agreed to that trade. JOK is probably BPA.

No chance any team gives up a first for Jimmy. Capabilities aside he hasn't proven to be reliably available as a starter.

Yeah I did to. I would like to see them trade Jimmy and Mcglinchy before or during the draft. There is still some excellent cbs on the market they could sign. Get Mcglinchy replacement not paying him 10 million next year unless he makes a turn pass blocking. The problem is they have to guarantee his salary in may. Might even flip a forth for Minshew. Maybe. There is some opportunities to get some draft capital and salary relief all while strengthening the team and its future.

If Jimmy had the one SB appearance and a couple of other playoff appearances then he would be worth a 1st rounder. The problem is he's been injured 2 out of the last 3 seasons and has missed most of their games. That plus the fact that he isn't very athletic in an era when that is a valuable commodity and you are lucky to get a 2nd rounder. Remember, he's not some 23 year old that has his entire career ahead of him. He's had 7 years in the league and has had 3 serious injuries. Teams value durability in a QB.
