Well he couldn't beat him out while Tua was healthy. People forge that Tua played much of his final year with an injured hip. He had major surgery in the off season and he may not have been 100% when he played last year. I remember some people saying he may never be the same player he was before the injury.

Perspective always helps.

Unfortunately sports always has and always will be a bottom line business

I remember big bad NY pushing Jerry Jeudy last draft season like it was the obvious choice and anyone saying otherwise was clueless. Your a fan just like the rest of us.

Why would we draft Jeudy when we could have Aiyuk latter on . Exactly

Yes tua getting thrown in as a freshman in the NT game was about experience and reps

here's a great breakdown of Tua vs Mac.

He got in. The more experienced Jalen Hurts got the start.

Don't get it. Are you saying he shouldn't express his opinion any more because he's a fan?

What is the point of this forum if that's the case?

Just hit him back with the intel you have that shoots his intel down. These off-topic fan contests are for the birds.

That single digit Wonderlic had me skip out on Jeudy. He may go on to be a HOFer for all we know,...just glad we got Aiyuk instead.

There is no "intel" that's my point.
It's up to Kyle and JL. As a 49er fan I put my faith in that
Folks who post non stop sensationalism about one particular prospect (zero regard for any shortcomings) a month before the draft as if that is the only possible selection need to be called out.
It's no big deal, it's not personal

We are in great shape
I really want us to draft him. Sit him behind Jimmy, let him learn, and just imagine how much he can open up Kyle's playbook. There will be no limits as long as Fields knows where the open man is.

Okay, but Jeudy still had a really good year, so then there's nothing wrong with NY said.

And lets not like act like we were all jumping for joy when we drafted BA lol

Very few around here thought BA was that good. Point being maybe just maybe Kyle and JL know what they are doing. If it's not Fields I'm still all in. Putting all your eggs in one basket this early as a fan just seems really weird to me.
