Justin Fields QB - Ohio State

As for what Fields did to Lawrence. Jones did outplay Fields and put up 460+ yards and 5 TDs.

Fields was playing through either a hip pointer or broken ribs and missing much more of his teammates than Jones
With Fields (or Lance), I love to think of the possibilities on RPO's, making the defense at least think about defending against a QB with wheels if they crash on the initial run action.

Just think about that back side openness from all the stretch runs. The better defenses have been shooting the gaps straight upfield to stop our stretch. Imagine being exposed to a 60 yard bootleg or risking to stay and absorb the 6 ypc stretch runs.

Naked bootlegs with Kittle running a play side crosser. Jet sweep keepers. The play book will be adding more plays and truly attacking rules of defense. Teams will have to play more disciplined against Kyle and therefore Kyle will know exactly how to attack them.

Jones also has at least 3 other skill players on his team that will be drafted in the 1st.

One of the reasons they will be drafted high is because Jones consistently hit them instride.

AJ Mccarron did the same, Hurts did the same, Tua did the same and the guy that is taking over for Mac is already doing it in practice and I'm positive will do the same. What is the common denominator in all of it?

Sark.

But in all seriousness, none of those guys reached Jones' record setting production. Not even Tua. So there's an argument to be made that he's better than them.

Laser accuracy. It would be insane to pass on him.

We're going to miss out on him because of Kyle's arrogance. I can't believe this

You'd think if he was so arrogant he'd want the biggest talent showing he can coach up whenever.

I simply refused to beleive the most innovative play caller in the NFL with only draft "a system quarterback" instead of an elite talent.

We can only hope. I'm with you....it's hard to believe he would take Mac here. If he does....I think it's time to start wondering if we have the right regime

Hospital ball......Kittle would hit his head on the goal post with that perfect of a pass in stride

None of those guys had that many passing attempts either.

This is what I'm thinking, and the beauty of it is that it happens regardless of whether Fields (or Lance) is ready or not.

Then you think about the Redzone offense and the cheat code it is to have a QB that has to be accounted for as a running threat.

No DC wants Kyle to have a dual threat QB.

Tua: 43 TDs in 2018. 11.2 YPA

Mac: 41 TDs in 2020. 11.2 YPA.

seriously...overall I think Kyle evaluation is a bit meh. Dude wanted to draft John beck at 10 overall when he was in Texas...that's terrifying.

But Mac Jones.
