What this actually sounds like to me is... whether you're a dual threat with a "high ceiling" or a middle of the road guy with an average arm. You need an OL and playmakers around them.

Love Fields toughness. In the right system with the right coach, I think he's a future pro bowler. Showed a lot of grit and iron last night. Props to him.

If he drops to the 2nd round i would most likely because of medical red flags. Literally the only reason. Literally tonsil had a video leaked of him with a bong gas mask and he still went in the first.

I can't see teams being that stupid, but say the Jets stick with Darnold, Miami can't find a trade partner, Wilson goes ahead of him and he somehow falls to #12, I'd run the card up to the podium.

I think he's a candidate to sit behind Jimmy at least a while, but think we'd have a stud after that.

All I'm pointing out is he is getting excuses for him not having his top talent around him, again. When another QB gets criticized for depending on talent around him.

i was really impressed with his navigation of the pocket. Really good at avoiding pressure and extending his plays while keeping his focus on receivers. I can see why he is going #2. Kinda reminds me of Russell Wilson out there. Just physically more gifted.

Wouldnt mind giving up 2 first rounders and maybe a pair of 2nds for this guy. I think he is going to have alot of success in the NFL.

Fields might be the second QB off the board but Mac Jones looked great! Jones is clearly a first rounder. At this points the pecking order for QB 2-4 in this draft probably varies from team to team. I don't think anyone can say this guy is the consensus second QB to go no matter the team. If Wilson and Jones went before Fields it wouldn't be the biggest surprise ever. I also think Wilson vs Jones for that 3rd QB off the board got a lot closer last night
