All depends on the Jets and Falcons. If we can get by pick 4 with only one QB off the board, it's on. I'm not in favor of taking one, but if Shanalynch are convinced, go get your guy.

I have him sliding to 7th in my mock I just posted and we trade up with Detroit to get him. We will see.

If he's chilling there at 7...make that call!

Agreed, he sits at first though for me.

He's a look on him doing some off season drills last yr and then applying those throws in games
How important is the "Off" Season?

Extra work with no one around NOW
➡️
Executed same throws to same receivers when the lights are on and everyone's watching LATER‼️@justnfields @OhioStateFB pic.twitter.com/lAkJLFKyk8
I love a guy who will deftly move in the pocket and then fearlessly throw downfield, especially if he's accurate, too.
No way this guy falls past five. And if he does, we need to trade up to get him.

Of course same with Wilson, but I don't see either dropping far enough.

So you want Mac Jones because that's the only QB we're getting at 12

Justin Fields reminds me so much of Justin Herbert's situation last year.

People are over-thinking his traits and talents. To me it's a lot of "what can he do?" vs. "what was he asked to do?".
I'm very torn on my QB2-4 rankings, but see too many people down on Fields

Schematically, Clemson and Ohio State are similar in formations, personnel and play selection. The biggest difference is the amount of shot plays Ohio state calls in a game. Justin Fields has a rocket launcher attached to his shoulder 🚀 pic.twitter.com/EG4zLbSP64

Ohio state's offense utilizes more downfield passing than Clemson. I love Fields short and intermediate passing accuracy as well! Ohio state also does a great job of scheming guys open. Fields doesn't miss 🎯 pic.twitter.com/hW0b6y95eY

His athleticism and rushing ability should help him provide fantasy value day-1 in the NFL. Depending on his landing spot, Fields could be electric. pic.twitter.com/wvHHhNWCn5

I'm ready for all the smoke from player comp Twitter. Here goes nothing. Fields runs like Watson, evades pressure like Wilson and has serious arm talent like Mahomes. Will it translate to an elite NFL QB? Time will tell, I pray he doesn't land in a tough situation. pic.twitter.com/PETFAt8G3F

I'd say he's much like Jimmy from that negative aspect BUT everything else is a massive upgrade. Plus he's 21 not 29. He's just scratching the surface with 2 yrs of play under his belt.

I'm kinda at this point too. It will be much cheaper to move up and select whichever of the top 4 QBs that fall. Ideally one falls out of top 5 and we only have to give up our 1st next year. That would allow us to help solidify the oline with our 2nd rounder.
