That likely is the case, but why is he consistently late? Is it a slow processor between the ears, or a disconnect with his receivers where he doesn't trust them to see what he sees and be where they're supposed to be? That's my question.
Kyle's offense has a ton of option routes, so if he does end up here, which would be very exciting, that's something he'd have to improve. When you revisit this quote Shanny made earlier in the season about how he's changed in evaluating QBs now, you really have to wonder how he sees someone like Justin Fields, who has all the tools to be one of the best throwers on the planet. If we haven't made a move to acquire a QB by draft day, we're 100% going to draft one. And if that's the case, it's going to be interesting to see whether Shanny's words below manifest in drafting a guy like Fields or if things never change and we end up with Mac Jones. Personally, I'd rather swing for the fences and sacrifice draft picks than give away our NFL proven studs like Kittle, Warner or Bosa.
