Justin Fields = Marcus Mariota...

Yeah jcs has been super rational about Fields.

Yeah, he's way off too. Should be.

Justin Fields = Deshawn Watson (only bigger and stronger arm)

Hahaha right

and fields = Mariota is a joke. Marcus' arm isn't in the same planet. Dude ran a chip Kelly spread offense that consisted of 4 routes.

what a lazy take
From Breer's podcast the other day

Actually, yes, and I can't say that every year," Elite 11 head coach Trent Dilfer said last week on my podcast. "I can't say every year that we nailed the Elite 11 and we knew that there were going to be future pros. I think we've gotten better over time. But [the high school class of] '18 was a unique class where you knew Trevor [Lawrence] and Justin [Fields] would wind up in the top five in the draft.

"You knew when they were 17 years old: They had rare traits, they had rare work ethic, they had rare awareness, they had rare leadership qualities. They checked every box at 17, and they were only going to get better, and we knew they were going to good places too."

And this was also the first snap he took right after hurting his knee that game... Just like how he balled out after breaking his ribs in the Clemson game. He has toughness and an It-factor that you just can't teach that has shown up on film so many times. This is the edge I give on choosing him over Lance and even Wilson.

Yup. Dude plays ball letting his nuts hang!

hahaha.

Kyle talks about toughness and I don't think there's a tougher QB in this draft class. He's got no problem hanging in the pocket and taking a shot. He also smart/athletic enough to know when to move/scramble. Toss in elite arm ability and high football IQ...it should be an easy pick.

Yeah, they should run to the podium with the pick.

A 4.4 sprint to the podium!
Get ready for the media narrative to shift today after trey's pro day. Although I do like Lance, fields is the pick!

Yeah, after today Lance will probably surpass Fields as the favorite.

I doubt it. He'll probably come closer and surpass Jones, but not Fields.
I think fields is the favorite but Kyle is giving trey a chance to see how he responds to his type of coaching with Beck. If he performs he is in serious consideration now.

I think it's obvious it's going to be Lance with all this Shanny/Beck collaboration.

Beck is also coaching Fields.
