I think it's obvious it's going to be Lance with all this Shanny/Beck collaboration.
I don't think it's necessarily obvious but Kyle is obviously trying to have Lance convince him he is the guy. Fields is coached up by Beck as well.

As long as we're selecting Wilson, Lance, or Fields, we are immediately one of the best teams in the league and probably the best situation for a rookie QB period since either Russell Wilson or Big Ben.

Looking at the Shanahan Offense™️ as it is right now doesn't do it justice. The offense has been withered away by bad QB play the last 4 szns. The real "scheme fit" QB isn't the guy we can safely drop in but the one who can bring it back to what it was:https://t.co/KiYuMmcqeR

Don't have PFF. What's the conclusion of the article?

one thing about Lance is he is 2 years younger than Fields/Mac. If shanny believes he can correct his throwing mechanics to increase his accuracy then he should be the pick.I wonder how much he improved in that area since his last game its been a while since he played

Basically saying that Shanahan removed most of the deep passing from his offense since 2017 (as compared to his offense in Atlanta in 2016) because of inadequate QB play.

why i dont agree with this is shannahan worked with what he had in ATL. His weapons were roddy white and Julio Jones both are more deep threats. He got to pick his personnel here and its more of a YAC skillset

He's not 2 years younger. Fields turned 22 in March. Lance turns 21 in May. You'd be ecstatic if Lance in a year could be as accurate passing it as Fields is today.

He can get them open just fine. The problem is getting the ball there.
