Very likely he's the pick, or Jets are crazy enough to take him and we draft Wilson

dream scenario

No its not. Wilson is Manziel 2.0. Superior team weak conference always passing with 5yd cushion (watch the tape) dont get caught up in the hype. The one team BYU played that generated any pressure made him look below average (watch the Coastal Carolina game). All in all I hope the jets are dumb enough to take Wilson over Fields. Staying in line with what the Jets always do.......Lose!

Ben Allbright on twitter is saying he sees Fields falling out of the top 10.

Opinions all over the place.

Collinsworth is usually straightforward with what he's thinking and rarely pushes an agenda.

This! I never seen so much paid advertisement before the draft.

I still say all this Mac Jones and Trey Lance talk is major smoke screen. This is all for the fans so there is a big surprise and excitement on draft night. I believe the sources are throwing this out on purpose. Why would they put this out now?? Makes no sense. Unless it is Fields.

Because it's the #3 overall pick and Lawrence and Wilson are supposedly locked in already. But is the #2 pick really locked in already??? I think a lot of people are overlooking that.

#2 is locked in. Jets are taking Zach Wilson.

I hope.

I have seen a huge number of posters claim that all this is media nonsense and a smoke screen....

But no one who has made that claim has been able to answer this question: What is the upside/point of creating this smokescreen?

Being able to cling to the dwindling hope that "their guy" is the one the niners pick. Self delusion is the most pathetic form of delusion.
I don't think any of our decision makers in Sanfrancisco are racist. However I think it's hilarious how people scramble to down play race as a factor league wide. To pretend that you know that every single person in the league is free from bias is laughable. Refusing to acknowledge that it can be and is a factor for some is allowing that poison to live on. It is completely plausible that some may see Mac Jones as smarter because he is white and are trying to push that narrative. Everyone talks in such absolutes. Kyle IS arrogant and stubborn. Mac Jones IS the pick. Fields falling down draft boards IS NOT because of racial bias. We don't know either way so don't pretend that your opinion is any more valid than the rest of us.

We will see. If I see Fields somehow drops to 32 then I'll be looking as to why myself with race back on the table. Right now though I don't anticipate Fields to last long

There's no way he's dropping out of the top of the draft unless he has a major medical red flag.

Millions of clicks!! If they were all saying that Fields is the pick then the world would be meh that is what I thought. But if you go the other route people are clicking to see what the perspective is. It's simple economic supply and demand. Don't fall for the smoke.

Who doesn't think racism doesn't exist in the league. It does and always will to some extent. Everything you said works in the exact opposite direction as well.

The truth Is, no one really knows.

Why are we the only ones that seem to be interested in Jones above these guys?

Any way we can add a like button below each post??? This is spot on. And I've been doing soooo much clicking.

I was still pretty confident we were drafting fields until yesterday. It's not the media noise, kyle def seemed to be in defensive mode because of the flack about potentially drafting mac at 3. Really hope I'm wrong. I still have hope, but it's not as strong as before. Kyle is a master actor/troller if fields is the pick.

He could've been getting defensive about anything. It doesn't mean its bc him potentially drafting Jones. Maybe he getting defensive bc he's hearing flack from fans and for all we know, he wants nothing to do with Jones and the questions are annoying him even more. Point is, you cant come to conclusions alone on that. I think a lot of fans are over analyzing everything he says

Better man than me. Pretend Fields was white, and tell me you think anyone would be saying the things they're saying about him. He'd be the #1 overall pick, even over Lawrence.

When in doubt, cry racism.
