Better man than me. Pretend Fields was white, and tell me you think anyone would be saying the things they're saying about him. He'd be the #1 overall pick, even over Lawrence.
When in doubt, cry racism.
I'm not crying racism. But you can't tell me that prejudices and biases aren't playing a part in the evaluation of Fields, Lance, and Jones. We've seen this movie many times before.
Really? Yeah, we have seen this many times before...

Are you trying to make the case that people in the NFL are immune to biases and prejudices? Lol.
Not at all. But to say that every year is biased, the facts speak for themselves.
When did I say "every year is biased?" If there is a CLEAR top pick at the QB position who is black, they go in the top picks. I'm talking about when it's close, is when you start hearing the nonsense we're hearing this year.
What point are you trying to make? Do you think Jones is better than Fields and/or Lance?
Right, people here try to paint this kind of stuff as cut and dry or for lack of a better phrase, in shades of black and white. It's much more nuanced than that. When they exist, these biases manifest themselves more as just an extra thumb on the scale making it slightly easier for some prospects and harder for others, but they're rarely insurmountable and a prospect that is clearly the best is going to get drafted at the top no matter what.
