He'll be alright. That fanbase is nuts and they see him as their salvation. If he plays well, he'll embraced probably more warmly than just about any other QB in this draft class. Bears fans have been thirsty for a consistently good QB for decades now.

Bears have had very few good qbs in the entire history of the franchise. Fields was a steal for them. Yes they gave a lot to move up, but well worth it imo. Wish fields the best, but let's go niners and let's go trey
