I would be fine with Fields or Lance.

I didn't want to trade 25 picks and 10 1st rounders for him. I was fine to stay put or a very tiny trade up. Then select Mac Jones or Justin Fields.

And after that the Bears offense finally managed to be somewhat effective. Needless to say the guy with a 25 QBR hasn't been very good.

Granted his first start was one of the worst debuts a guy can have. His last full start he went 59% 291 pass yds 1 TD 1 INT 8 carries 45 rush yds. On MNF at Steelers. Not bad.

You didn't. The 9ers did. And they went after Lance no matter the cost.

I didn't want Mac at all and still don't. We already have a QB like him on the roster. Jimmy has put up better numbers than Mac and he's a guy we are looking to replace.

That was a pretty good game.
I cannot believe how many sacks this guy takes. 31 sacks against 198 pass attempts. That is mindblowingly bad. One sack for every 6.38 pass attempts.

I'm sure the offensive line isn't doing him any favors, but when you take that many sacks, YOU are a huge part of the problem. For example, Andy Dalton behind that same line has taken 5 sacks in 73 attempts - one sack for every 14.6 attempts

Fields was my preference in the draft. Does this guy just have zero pocket awareness or something? My god.
