Imo, mukuamu just Isnt very good.

I'm a sucker for guys with great footwork like Varrett or Lattimore. Not seeing that with him. He's got more of a Jalen Ramsey kinda of game.

Don't know. Haven't seen him play much. Still has the size and the tools to be a NFL CB. Mukuamu is a top 100 level prospect in the few rankings I have seen for next year's draft class. Niners could at least one CB next year in the draft. Wouldn't mind either of these guys over guys like Witherspoon.

Sherm's slowing down. Spoon should be traded so I hope DB is a focus. Horn looks like a star in the making.

I personally think he's better than Shaun Wade.

So do I. I think he's right there with Surtain as CB1

So funny because a lot of draft pundits and sites had him ranked as a 2nd round prospect and not as talented as Israel Mukuamu. I thought it was insane. I actually felt that Mukuamu was overrated like Kevin King was. With Jaycee, you saw how physical he was. How stiff his punch off the line of scrimmage was. His willingness to tackle in the backfield.

Before Jimmy got hurt and played like ass, I was hoping for Horn as our 1st round pick, especially after the Auburn game.
I like this dude. Corners are an underrated need for us next year.
I currently go:
CB1: Caleb Farley
CB2: Jaycee Horn

CB3: Eric Stokes
CB4: Patrick Surtain II

CB5: Shaun Wade
Would love him in the 1st. Perfect CB for our system and our CB depth is very thin.
Here's the thing: if the 49ers are going to stay predominantly a zone team, it's better to invest in the DL than CB because you can find zone CBs waaay later. It's the man coverage guys that are coveted, but the 49ers don't play much man.
