Verretts not physical and he had his way with DK. I don't think trying to out physical a freak like DK is the way to beat him. Good footwork and staying disciplined is the best way to deal with DK. And when your facing Hopkins you're best defense is hoping he doesn't get 200 yards on you. He's the best in the game and has been for a while.

True true, but there's a lot to like about Jaycee's mechanics. His size and physicality are a huge plus. I see a lot of Marlon Humphries in his game.

Oh yeah for sure. The more I watch Horn the more I like. Still has some false steps at the line. I honestly think he's better in the slot than on the outside and he's really good outside.

With DeMeco running the show, we may see a shift in CB profile. They brought in James Bettcher, who comes from the Todd Bowles' school of blitz until your eyes bleed. If they want to manufacture more pressure up front, it will require CBs that are capable of playing man in the back.

Patient. Stiff punch. Stays square. Good stuff. Basically working on being the opposite of Ahkello.

Yeah, I'm thinking more pressure may be coming, particularly on 1st and 2nd down. I'm not sold on CB in the first however. I'm waiting for free agency to play out for that as I'm committed to Slater at the moment. I would love to see us mix things up even more. CB definitely needs to be looked at on day 2 however.

Love me some Jaycee Horn. Got that dog in him, physical, super talented. I think he can play both man and zone and that versatility will be huge for us to mix up the defense. And Oliver Davis is one of the best coaches out there.
