Rashawn Slater - OL

Wonder what the odds are we FA Mack and get Slater...and would we have to move up to do so?

Just a guess but this seems so logical that high likelihood would be max 50% . Most would hinge on Slater at 12, and somehow, the one guy PFF and others say is NFL ready to start at OG, and could also work up to LT,..can anyone seeing him really lasting til 12? I guess the other thing is just how much JL and Peters work on kyle to agree. Figure 4 QBs, which means 5 (someone always surprises with another), a RB, corner ..or 2, S, at least 2 WRs, a pair of DTs... i guess it could work but we wont' be the only ones looking at slater.

Pretty sure we get Mack or similar . The draft...less than 50%.

Yeah I usually like to do 4 mocks...post Senior bowl, post combine, post FA,. then a final mock based all that plus who's visited.

All I've done is a quick and dirty one with us getting Stafford, dude got traded to LA a couple days later lol.

I do love your mocks. Hope you do more.

The good news is that the draft is deep at this position, so in the unfortunate event that Slater is gone, we can still grab a starting caliber talent later. But I'm hoping we can snag Mack + Slater. I really want to see what he looks like having regular time in the pocket. This will help Jimmy, Aiyuk, Kittle, and our running backs the most. When we can establish our intermediate to deeper passing more (as opposed to short to intermediate), that will pull at least one defender out of the box, giving our RBs favorable look, and Jimmy can actually get more guys involved in the passing offense.
Is anyone concerned he didn't play last year? Long term, he's gonna be fine. In the short term, he may struggle
My top guy non qb. I'd love to get him at 12.

Welp, I expected 33" arms. And 304 lbs? Scouts/teams are going to pencil him in as an IOL.

NICE. Came in taller than the initial 6'3'' reported
Anyone have an age for Slater?

I see the draft community has already moved him to center. I hate this damn community. I would keep dude at tackle even with 33" arms. Who gives a s**t. He knows how to use his hands. Dude has vice grips.

Didn't Joe have 33 inch arms? Or somewhere near there?
