Rashawn Slater - OL

It's always a good idea to invest in the trenches, especially at tackle.

But damn, there's a big part of me that wants a QB. Slater and Mond it is.

Yeah, I don't mind it either.

What frustrates me is if we're not going to pay Deforest Buckner or Trent Williams(assuming he walks in FA), then who the hell will we pay? Why does it seem like this team doesn't want to pay for anyone? If we're not going to pay an elite left tackle, is there anyone worth paying? Are we going to trade Fred Warner to avoid having to pay him, too?

The Kyle Trask dream may come true

If we keep Jimmy and trent is too expensive gimme slater!!
If we don't go QB then Slater is the guy for me, regardless of whether we re-sign Williams or not.
I've seen so many mocks with the 49ers picking a defensive player, then Chargers picking Slater just after. Already did it by picking Kinlaw over Wirfs, can't do it again.

Ford and Westburg contracts, killed the cap right off the bat.

How you figure we're not going to pay Trent? Nobody seems to understand the thing with Buckner was they had another DT in AA who was cheaper rather than pay 20 mil when they knew Kittle was coming. Now if they never had AA or intentions of wanting him back they maybe think about keeping Buckner, they were probably in love with Kinlaw and think he can be a replacement in time and felt somewhat better trading him.
