Thats the OL I would love to see as well.

I can see Mike getting the Trent Brown treatment and sent to the Raiders who are dumping their entire OL. Maybe for a second or third.
But if Mike stays, let him compete with Brunskill for the RT spot.
Slater moves to RT after Mike leaves. And to LT when Trent leaves

IDK. If Slater is there at 12, I say pull the trigger. This guy is an all around great talent. If we resign Trent, bring in Mack, and draft Slater...we instantly have a top 5 line. Also, he can slide over to RT if McGlinchey continues to suck or in 2022 if we decide to let him walk.

I agree. My fear is that Fields, Lance, and Slater will all be gone by 12. Fields to Atlanta, Lance to Carolina, and Slater to Dallas. If that happens I really do hope we move down and get another 2nd rd pick.

If that happens, I pray Chicago or Washington panics and sends a haul to move up for Jones. You can almost bank on 3 QBs, 3 WRs, 2 CBs, 1 TE and 1 OT going in the top 11. Really curious on what the the Lions and Giants decide to do.

we passed on Wirfs and traded back last year and with LAC picking after us, while I don't want it to happen, I can see that happening again.
The Niners would love this as they would likely have their pick of Lance or Slater. But I doubt that happens now. I'm not sure that 2 CBs go off the board as well as 3 WRs are gone when the 49ers select.

With the players in question specifically being Chase, Smith and Waddle at WR AND Farley and Surtain at CB, I'd like to believe whoever isn't selected before 12 would be available at 12. In that case, it wouldn't be a bad consolation to have one of them at 12 either. But I agree, with the way FA is shaping up to be, things are becoming more and more uncertain.

The Chargers had the worst OL in football last year and they have a young stud QB. Slater is mocked to them at #13 in 80% of the mocks I've seen.
I'd even guess they could trade up to snag Slater to keep their young QB alive, they don't want another Andrew Luck or Joe Burrow.

Ah yes. Denver hasn't had a QB since they won SB 50 so they will do anything to improve that. They have a lot of young talent on that offense.
CB is a need for them as well so we'll see how they proceed.

I would look to trade down but if I couldnt I would take Jones. If Dallas took Surtain instead of Slater I would run to the podium and fix our OL by selecting the big kid.

With as many QB needy teams there are, this is a horrible chance for an upgrade. Get Slater. Our problems are team health, OLine, and QB health.

This is the way. Then we can draft another guard or tackle in 2022, depending on what happens with McGlinchey.

Doing TDN mocks lately I'm often choosing between Slater and Jones. I was big on Mac initially, still am for us, but I've been going with Slater lately. Cause like, if you're going to draft Jones but still let Jimmy start this year, you might as well just give Jimmy the blue chip O-linemen and legit give this our best shot ... then at 43 you can grab Ossai or a CB and it's a nice start
