Rashawn Slater - OL

This. He is the second OL off the board at worst and like goes Top 10.

It's crazy to me how 2 inches on his arm length is going to be the difference of being 1st on a team's board or off it.

The only desperate OL team are the Bengals, everyone else will have some interesting choices. The top WR's look great, but you could wait due to the depth.

I think the top 3 CB's go higher due to a perceived lack of depth, and then the QB market will be frenzied.

I don't think it's at all a lock that he goes top 10. Completely agree not to count on him being there though.

It's crazy, but it's true. The difference between a tackle with 33" and 35" arms is massive in scout's eyes. 32" is basically undraftable in the first. Length matters, but it isn't everything.

I mean Sewell isn't junk either. He's the best pure tackle prospect in years. The size, length and athleticism are all there. I think both of them will be very successful in he NFL. Teams in major need of OL help will have both names circled at the very top of their boards, followed by guys like Darrisaw.

I find it utterly ridiculous, whatever length his arms are they allowed him to block Chase Young, that'll do for me.

Agreed. He is a top-10 pick, but it's not a lock based on what other teams may do. This happens every year. Everyone can't go in the top-10. People have 4 QBs, Sewell, Smith, Surtain, Chase, etc.

Yup, it happens every single year. Just last year I couldn't believe CeeDee Lamb AND Tristan Wirfs were there when we were up to pick.
He won't get by the Cowboys. They need Oline more than anyone in the top 10.

Yup

I wouldn't be so sure, most of their issues were health related. I'm sure they'd take a long look at Surtain or Farley if they were there.

Hope so. I'd rather us keep our picks or even maneuver around some after our 1st pick.

I think they go defense
my hope of landing Slater if we can't get a QB...is slowly diminishing

I can't see him getting out the top 10
Just when I was feeling comfortable with targeting Slater, Humphrey, and Mills with our first three picks

Well we know the Bengals are taking one, hopefully one of our competitors for QB take the other one, preferably the Panthers.

I'm a big fan of Slater, I think he'd be amazing as a Guard for us, and would give us great flexibility when it comes to our Tackle contracts.
