And the whole look who's won a SB crap is old and stale...yeah 10 yrs ago every QB was a pure in the pocket QB. The kids that are learning to play QB are actually legit athletes now...the rules have changed. And win one dude wins like 6 SBs it's a bit misleading lol

you can rifle off a laundry list of pure in the pocket passers who haven't won s**t just as well.

Fair question.

I personally wanted Garoppolo to start and play as long as possible no matter the rookie QB.

But getting rid of him certainly doesn't improve the QB room. His $25M rollover will help and the draft pick when he goes to NE but not the QB room at all.

Well how about the new question...What's a better QB room for the 2021 season? Mac + Sudefield or Jimmy + Lance/Fields + Sudefield?

I think Jimmy being around makes this team better. He's better than everyone of the rookies if he's healthy IMO. Fields/Lance add an interesting wrinkle if they're called upon as rookies and hopefully could match his production from the pocket. Mac would hopefully be able to play at Jimmy's level if he's called upon as a rookie.

I am not a believer that any of them, including Mac, can step in day 1 and match a vet's performance.
