Hell yeah Steve Carrell!!!!
I'm paying close attention to Ian Book today against Clemson. He won't have all day to throw and he's going to be in immense pressure, both mentally and physically. If he balls out in these next two games; perhaps the biggest game in his life, then I would re-think Book as a prospect. I want to see if he has the "it factor"
If he plays well against Clemson..maybe ( ButHe is undersized..and he is no Russell Wilson)

Ian " The Office " Book can be the NEXT Rich Gannon in 5 years !!!
Clemson's D is phenomenal. Got a few key guys back. This is how the first game should've went.

Book has had some nice throws dropped.

Not a bad QB from what I've seen of him. ND just choked today.

They didn't choke. They got exposed. This is exactly how that first matchup should've went but Clemson was down 5 key starters in that game. Yesterday was just reality. They play again Clemson whoops them again.
Well we do need a backup qb and I think that's his ceiling, but a Fitzpatrick type backup qb. And thats a compliment. I'll take a flyer in the 4th if he's there

I could see taking a flyer on him as a backup...but counting on him to be a starter is a big stretch (and I'm an ND fan). I do like the fact he does not turn the ball over often (15 TD to 2 INT this year) and he has honed the ability to extend plays by scrambling. Day 3 pick to replace what we have at backup I'm all for it
7th Round pick at best. UDFA most likely. Average talent from a good program.

I agree but he does play with a degree of toughness that I could see appealing to Shanahan. He could be the replacement for Mullens.
Although he didn't have a good game, he is a QB I can see Kyle loving in the third day. He is a pocket passer who has mobility. He allows you to get a few players before him and still get a player kyle can develop.

Boller was a 1st rounder.. should have not been until stupid scouts saw him throwing the football 50 yards to the goal post kneeling down..

Book would be a good late pick and have him compete w/CJ... but if CJ signs some place else, then Book would still be a good late pick.. IMO
