Two add on's to the list of pass rushing prospects:

Payton Turner
  • Position: Defensive Lineman
  • School: Houston
  • Current Year: Senior
  • Height: 6'5 3/8″
  • Weight: 270 pounds
  • Wingspan: 84″
  • Arm: 35″
  • Hand: 10 1/4″


Cam Sample, DL, TulaneCam Sample was one of the big Senior Bowl risers on a day where he was nearly unblockable in one-on-one drills. The Tulane defensive lineman is incredibly dense. Yet, he also showed off his explosiveness and quick reaction off the snap. He beat Jack Anderson with violent hands and bested Deonte Brown with a relentless swipe.

6'2" and 275 lbs and a 4th year Senior. Good mid to late round prospect. Bookend to Patrick Johnson

So does anyone have the background info on the edge rusher the 49ers met with, Daelin Hayes?

Here's his prospect profile. This should do.

Came away very impressed with this kid after Senior bowl week. Should be a good mid-late round pick for a rotational pass rushing role. His body/frame still looks underdeveloped, the NFL strength training program can help with that. But his tools and skillset are there. Reminds me of Alex Highsmith of last year.
