Gonna have to tap into the LBs to find some edge help.

1 of my defensive draft crush
Out of Duke DE Chris Rumph II
6'4 235
7.5 sacks this year
Lines up and blitzes from all over the line and at LBer
Great burst, motor
needs to gain some more muscle/weight
Reminds me of Brian Burns
Another is Wyatt Hubert from KSU
Kids gonna be a beast

I like Rumph too, add 15lbs, he'd be perfect. For me it's Rousseau at the top. Basham at Wake is a freak as well, 6'5" 285lb and can move, could slide inside too.

Shaka Toney, Azeez Ojulari, Jason Oweh, Patrick Jones, Quincy Roche, Malcolm Koonce, Joseph Ossai, Hamilcar Rashed Jr, Xavier Thomas, Jaelan Phillips, Rashad Weaver, and Victor Dimukeji, Myjai Sanders, Zaven Collins are all players I'd feel comfortable with on day two based on limited viewing. Joshua Kaindoh likely goes later but has a chance at day 2, and Kwity Paye I think is a top 25 prospect, but if he drops, is a no brainer. I also love a lot of the better corner prospects in the draft, and so, QB situation pending, I think we have a good chance to strengthen the team at key positions this draft.
Azeez Ojulari will be a fast riser. He'll play his way in the 1st round if he keeps playing the way he is right now.

Jaelan Phillips Miami 6-5 266 with great length and burst.
was the #1 recruit a couple yrs back and dealt with a couple injures and question playing football (red flag)
Dude came back and has been outstanding this yr. He fits this scheme like a glove.
-good short area quickness
-flexible
-can lineup all over
-violent hands
-can set the edge

#Canes DL Jaelan Phillips with the fake spin. Have a #passrush plan & execute it! Great job by @JJPhillips15 #TheU pic.twitter.com/sHZfRgBfUG

Jaelan Phillips beats his blocker back inside during an E/T stunt with the club/arm over. Gets the sack! #theu #miavsvt #miami pic.twitter.com/r0FbkUCVZb

He was definitely noticeable in last week's game vs North Carolina. Obviously, that whole defense looked awful, but he did flash some. This is the first I've heard about his drive and second guessing playing football, and that's already a HUGE red flag.

I think it was more about his health than really not wanting to play football...I do think it will drop him in the draft and I'm cool with that. He's got first rd talent and I think he goes in the top 100.

Sanders is def a big riser... question is can we afford to use our second on a Edge player? This draft has some decent depth with Edge which is rare! I wish Drake Jackson would slide to the 4th so we could go CB and Edge in the 1st and 2nd... If we are out of QB range I'm all for a trade down in the 1st so we can add a 2nd or 3rd so we can add an Edge prospect to groom. We have to resign Hyder!

Imo there's a ton of depth at edge, no real true studs, but a lot of guys you can get in the mid rds that will start in the NFL.

Definitely the route to go. Get someone that can replace Ronald Blair ultimately (if we resign him) and push to start down the road.
