was the #1 recruit a couple yrs back and dealt with a couple injures and question playing football (red flag)
Dude came back and has been outstanding this yr. He fits this scheme like a glove.
-good short area quickness
-flexible
-can lineup all over
-violent hands
-can set the edge
#Canes DL Jaelan Phillips with the fake spin. Have a #passrush plan & execute it! Great job by @JJPhillips15 #TheU pic.twitter.com/sHZfRgBfUG

Jaelan Phillips beats his blocker back inside during an E/T stunt with the club/arm over. Gets the sack! #theu #miavsvt #miami pic.twitter.com/r0FbkUCVZb

Quincy Roche, Miami, 6'4-240 lbs
Pros:
*Explosive off the line
*Violent hands
*Can win both on the outside and inside of OTs
*Win with varieties of pass rush moves, not a one or two move guy.
*Speed rusher, but can also convert speed to power pretty well
*Ability to bend
*Powerful upper body strength to shed blocks
Cons:
*Lack of motor (jogs too much)
*Consistency
*Needs to gain more lower body strength

Jordan Smith, UAB, 6'7-255 lbs
Pros:
*Explosive off the line
*Long and lanky with strength and flexibility
*Ability to bend
*High motor
*Rare size and athletic ability
*Plays with good pad leverage for his height.
*Strong at defending the run also.
Cons:
*Credit card scam is a red flag
*Needs to be more violent with his hands.
*Sometimes rushes without a plan.
Jordan Smith has all the tools to become a star in the NFL. He initially signed with Florida but never played a single down for them because of his credit card scam incident. He had a rough start to his college career but the UAB coaches are raving over the maturity he gained from his off field incident. He became a leader for UAB and was well respected by his teammates. Worth taking a chance on him in late Day 2 or early Day 3.

How are the Georgia DB's looking so far? Stokes and Campbell. They are both projected top 50 picks

Azeez Ojulari is the best edge player I've watched so far. His stab-chop is filthy!
I've only watched 3, tho.
