Got to say what you see, even if it doesn't support your shiny prospect. I did also say that I expect it to improve with better coaching. We have that

I love Zach Wilson, and I'd bet fairly heavily on him.
I do worry about a few things though, he's got that hero mentality that may get him killed in the league with his frame, also cause some picks where he thinks he can make the impossible throw.
I'm also not convinced with how well he sees or feels pressure, now I expect that to improve with better coaching, but it definitely increases the risk.
For me I won't trade to #2, if either he or Fields start to fall I'd be making some calls.
Love the fire/tenacity that Zach Wilson plays with. You could tell he was frustrated this game though. Choosing to leap over a defender here is dangerous.

Surprised CCU players never got flagged for taunting or unsportsmanlike conduct. They were getting in Zach's face all game. pic.twitter.com/0JDOv2aNX7

Except our current group hasn't exactly improved in that area

True, but none of them have actually had that long as the focus of attention, Jimmy keeps getting hurt and the others live off his scraps.
Also I think it makes a difference when it's a vast jump in coaching, I doubt Kyle is teaching Jimmy many things that McDaniels didn't, Zach's coach is just the best Mormon coach!

You basically just said that he hasn't learned it under McDaniels or Shanahan. Which is what some people are trying to say that it's no guarantee that the QBs who need to learn the important parts of QB position will learn it.
I'm not saying he/they can't or won't.

They way thing go with QBs, if Carson Strong is as good as described won't he eventually rise in the top 5-10?
If Jimmy g is as bad as advertised and Davis Mills doesnt show promise, that's where we're picking anyway (or within trade up range, same as this year)

If there's a guy I'd trade the farm for though, it's Wilson. What's not to love? Someone tell me.

Makes me think/hope that #49ers may trade up w/Jets or Dolphins to get Wilson. Kyle must really love Wilson if Simms is drooling like this. https://t.co/T0hRAofF5E

A lot of 49ers fans asking which QB would fit Kyle Shanahan's offense best, and Mac Jones (and Kellen Mond) would be great there (to be clear, no inside info on this one):https://t.co/FZyFiUpHFV

Agreed and I'm slowly but surely dipping my toe in the Fields pool
