Tier 0: The generational talent (aka The Andrew Luck)
Trevor Lawrence (Top 1)
Tier 1: The Potential All Pros...(aka The Justin Herbert)
Zach Wilson (Top 10) - If there's a guy to bet the farm on, it's Wilson. The throws he makes every game are Mahomes-ian. I think he would be dynamite in Kyle Shanahan's offense.
Justin Fields (Top 10)
Tier 2: All the tools in the world but rawwwww (aka The Josh Allen)
Tray Lance (Top 15) - If the 49ers are picking in the 10-13 range and Lance slips, it would be VERY hard for them to pass on him. I can see him sitting a year behind Jimmy G and then exploding onto the league in 2022. I would definitely be excited to see this marriage.
Tier 3: Big time college QBs with modest flaws that limit upside (aka The Kirk Cousins)
Mac Jones (Mid-late 1st)
Kyle Trask (Mid first - early 2nd)
Tier 4: Toolsy prospects with flaws and/or inexperience
Jamie Newman (2nd - 4th round)
Kellen Mond (2nd - 4th round)
Desmond Ridder (2rd - 4th round) - I've taken a peek at Ridder recently and there's A LOT to like. The ball looks different leaving his hand. He's got a big arm with a nice release and throws darts when he's on the money. He's got a big frame and is a slippery athlete. He can be a bit inconsistent but he's started over 30 games and has led Cincy to a top 10 ranking.
Felipe Franks (5th - 7th round)
Tier 5: Career back-ups that can rattle of a few mins (aka The Josh McCown)
Ian Book (6th - 7th round) - Book isn't flashy, but he's a pure winner. If the 49ers gamble on someone like Lance in the 1st round, I can also see them grabbing his lifelong backup in Book in round 6 or 7.
Brock Purdy (6th - 7th round)
Tanner Morgan (7th round - undrafted)
