WITH THE 12TH PICK OF THE 2021 DRAFT...

Edge would honestly be my first choice for the draft. Bosa could get hurt again but if he doesn't it would be great to keep that dline just crushing offenses every week. So far my favorite prospect is the guy you posted jalean phillips from miami.
He's projected as like an early 2nd right now.
And i feel like that's why this draft is a little difficult for us.
I would be pretty happy with an oline in rould 1 or a db and then round 2 grab a guy like jalean phillps on the edge. But then we're rolling with who to back up jimmy if he gets hurt?

We have to put pressure on jimmy to play better and just to have a guy who can step in and win games.

Im thinking the edge help might have to come in free agency unless we do trade back and acquire picks.

If the 2nd best corner is there and the 5th best QB, you go for value.

I would bet my house that 49ers brass doesn't sell the farm for a QB this draft.

But I don't want to ruin anyone's party. Have fun with it. Mock drafts are fun and entertaining.
This would be the year to move up and try to get that QB that is so much needed in what 20+ years

Hopefully getting the right QB and being on a cheap contract can help keep this team intact and possibly get better

The challenge though is that really only Lawrence is that QB that could provide the return on draft capital required for the trade to make sense.

This feels right. I hope they retain Hyder for depth, but they need a blue chip DE. The question is, can they find a solid prospect in the 2nd?

One of the constant justifications to move Jimmy is freeing up cap to retain current players. If there is a way to do it, I'd like to dump Fords salary as well.

Yes sir.

Gotta watch a bunch more but at this point I don't really see that elite edge rusher. I think I like Paye more Rousseau at this point.

Yeah, I haven't seen any super prospects yet, unfortunately. But we will see. Pass rush is the most important aspect in this age of the NFL... outside of quarterbacking of course. A great pass rush can really hide deficiencies in a weak secondary.

Yeah, I'd be all in on an Edge Rusher to bookend with Bosa. It'll also take some pressure off our DBs.

We're picking #15 heading into week 17, hopefully, we move up a couple of spots after Sundays games. I'm hoping for the #10 spot, but more likely we'll pick at #12.

If we pick at 12 were in a much better spot to wheel and deal than 15 imo. Makes it cheaper to trade up into the top ten and easier to trade down. 15 just kind of seems like a dead zone/bpa spot to me.

Want us to beat the seahawks but Im not gonna complain two years from now if a loss gives us a gold jacket or franchise player

Yeah, #12 is definitely better than #15, but we should still get a blue chip player at #15, too.

The only problem with an edge rusher is we don't even know what our D is going to be. I like our D a lot right now and really hope whoever our DC is runs this same type of D with the wide 9.
COME ON LYNCH !!!

I'm pretty sure they'll know who the DC is and what style of defense they will run by the time the draft comes around.
im all about balance and on D we need a stud corner...

We have Premier ER, premier MLB and we need that premier cover guy...

After that we can go IOL

i guess all depends on who we retain in free agency which i think needs to be TW, Hider Verret and KW.

If we could get Farley in the 1st and Philips in the 2nd we'd be looking good!
