WITH THE 12TH PICK OF THE 2021 DRAFT...

Where would they be picking if they didn't beat the Cardinals?

I guess that's not too bad of a drop off. Thanks
If JaMarr Chase available at 12, I say draft him. Bourne a free agent, not much depth at position, and he can easily fill in for Aiyuk or Deebo when injured.
I think they will roll with JG, see what they can do with Rosen...
CB, OL, Edge Rush also needs but a talent like Chase will be hard to pass
Everyone keeps thinking about trading Jimmy back to NE but what about Miami? They don't seem sold on Tua and Flores is a former pat that might be as interested in Jimmy as Belichick is.

Jimmy and some sort of package for the number three pick while bringing in a vet for a lil bit?

It might be a pipe dream but...

Not a chance. If Miami wasn't sold on Tua then they could just draft Wilson/Fields at #3. It would be cheaper. Jimmy is gonna cost them $25+ Million. Wilson/Fields are both more athletic. Both can also make more throws than Jimmy.

Yeah, this, I can't see Miami not drafting a QB if they're not sold on Tua, over trading for Jimmy or any high priced QB.

As for the draft, idk, I don't really research prospects anymore, but I know we have some big needs, EDGE, CB, IOL, WR, of course we need to lock up Trent Williams, and hope guys like Juice, Hyder, Verrett, & K'Waun come back, a WR wouldn't be bad, I like Bourne, but wouldn't break the bank for him, but having 3 high priced WRs in a few years doesn't seem smart, both Deebo & Aiyuk will get $10M+ a yr by the time their deals are due IMO. We need to re-sign Warner, he'll cost at least $18M a yr, same for Trent Williams.

As for a QB, I think they restructure Jimmy's deal, saves $18.42M, would help greatly in retaining our own FAs, and see what Josh Rosen has, maybe re-sign Beathard to a 1yr vet minimum deal, Mullens I liked prior to 2020, but not sure what his future looks like if he does need TJ surgery, and misses 2021.

AB, you're my brother, but you're crazy if you think the 49ers are going to come back with the same QB depth chart next year. I don't see it, unless they have no choice.

Yeah holding out hope Jimmy plays a full season? f**k that jazz. IF that's the plan (and it probably is) they HAVE to upgrade at the backup spot. Hopefully Kyle realizes he's not gonna win s**t with a bunch of turds as the backups and Jimmy just can't be counted on to remain healthy. He couldn't even manage to do it for 2 games in NE.

LOL. Dude would be broken in half mid way through the first quarter here.

NC hasn't watched many Lion games throughout the yrs lol.

That's WHY he's broken. LOL

Who says he's broken?

I can't remember which podcast reported it recently the past 2 weeks but a surgeon reported how f**ked up he was and listed the grocery long list of injuries he's had. It was unreal. Old + broken. Might be a solid bridge QB but only if Kyle fixes the pass protection and we both know that's highly unlikely.

and yet he has missed a tenth of the games Jimmy has over a career 3 times as long.

One more guy to embarrass Jaire Alexander with, why would that be a bad thing?

This guy got jokes. I'm not doubting Chase will be a great receiver. But we don't need another top pick burnt on a receiver
