WITH THE 12TH PICK OF THE 2021 DRAFT...

Not just that but near the top of each round!

if they do not address the o line and i mean address it. not just take tepid steps..... you are looking at six wins again in my opinion

EXACTLY how I feel....

this is why I feel that there's more of a chance that we trade down to get more picks and use it on OL and DBs..

Totally agree! I've watched enough mock drafts to realize that unless we want to draft Trey Lance, pick 12 is probably in a bit of no mans land. The top QBs will be gone as will the two top CBs. I like Trey Lance but just don't see him fitting in with Kyle's offense. As I've said before, I sense a trade back to around 22 or 23, draft Mac Jones and then focus on interior OL and DBs.
If 49ers don't like their options at 12 should consider trading down with Jets, Jags, or Texans for their first rounder in 2022 in addition to adding a 2nd and 3rd in the current draft. They can pick up a top QB in 2022 since those three teams will be picking in the top 5.

Pretty good strategy but we are a Sb contender as long as we are somewhat healthy so I'm not sure we should trade down vs getting a player with more talent at 12

In that case I hope they pick CB Patrick Surtain Jr., Caleb Farley, Jaycee Horn

That's who ESPN's McShay has SF taking in his 1st 2021 Mock Draft.

Would be a fkn steal if we can get him. Best CB in the draft IMO.
.... the Houston Texans are now on the clock with the number 12 pick after the Deshaun Watson trade...

I'm thinking that Devonta Smith could fall to us at 12. I think people will see his 175 pounds as a deferent like desean Jackson and he'll fall a little bit. We'll see.
Traded in a package to get DW
