Stole this from Barrows' (I think) article this morning but imagine we just take Kyle Pitts at 12
I want Edge...I want Paye. I watched some Michigan games this year and kept my eyes on him and Hutchinson. The thought of Paye and Bosa working together on this DL creating havoc and getting after the QB...

Just not sure he'll be there at 12.

No, this would be yyyuuuuuugeeee to pair another great edge opposite Bosa?!!!! Would be a devestating line again. Especially with Kinlaw growth

I'd be very happy with that. Gives us another legit weapon. He's easily the best TE in the draft. No one comes close to his skill set at that position. Can't have too many weapons. Especially if Jimmy G is going to continue throwing IR balls to Kittle. I fear Jimmy is going to get Kittle killed

Couldn't agree more, and also combined with Kinlaw's growth as you mention.

No way. I think him or Chase will be the first WR drafted. There's some WR needy teams ahead of us too.
If we keep JG I think we go LT. That way we can use money to resign some of our current FAs.

Man, I have been saying this for years. Having another dominant TE who can pass/run block too would be huge for expanding this offense and eating LB/DB's. Kyle's certainly tried with Hurd and Reed.

Amen Brother! Been wanting this a few years myself
I go with a underrated and surprise pick jaelan phillips edge pass rusher from Miami but this kid is just scratching the surface on his potential. Him and bosa would dominate. He was a 5⛤ coming out of high school then injuries happened at ucla then he got a second chance at Miami and showed his talent and potential.

How well does he anchor? Asking for a friend
If you don't get the QB you want either at 12 or trading up, then trade down. The best talent will be off the board, I say trade to the 20s and get more capital and someone like Wyatt Davis, and perhaps Creed Humprhies in round 2. I'm usually against two rookie OL starting together, but the fact is they have drafted 0 IOL in four drafts and this is an EXCELLENT class for that unit. Then get CB with the extra capital.

I like this kind of party.

Trent, Laken, Creed, Wyatt and Mike could develop into a legit unit if Mike puts it together. Rookies playing together could develop great chemistry. Garland and Brunskill could deliver some depth because of their versatility. We should remember Chris Jones was the Chiefs MVP on that SuperBowl.
