Reading the comments from Kyle and Lynch are interesting. They don't come out and say that Jimmy will definitely be the QB next year. They also don't say that they won't draft a QB. Talk about leaving the door open. If I was Jimmy, I wouldn't get to comfortable there.

I think we're forcing the issue on trying to find a MAHOMES here... it's getting ridiculous that most also grading a non deserving QB (Lance) a 1st round w/not even much experience.. heck, we may as well give the same grade to Alabama's NEXT star in Bryce Young..

Even if we don't have a QB, there are just too many teams ahead of us who WILL draft their future QBs.. IF we make any kinda move(s), it should be to get MORE picks and load up the team with talent especially on D.

Shanny had the chance to sign BRADY to at least avoid the situation we are now in, but DIDN'T...

I don't see them taking a QB in the first round without moving way up. After Lawrence, Fields and Wilson, the others are guys that could probably play and maybe do well but I'm not sure I would use a 1st on any of them. They may need more picks to fill in the holes left by guys they can't sign in the off season.

Take the best player available regardless of position. This team could use a good young player literally at every position group except for WR. Reaching for a player is the worst thing a team can do. With all the picks they have, if they stay put and consistently pick the best player on their board, this team will see a dramatic increase in talent and depth on the roster.

I agree here with taking the BEST player available.. but if WR JaMarr Chase is there, I'd take him because we'll be better with him as the real #1, while having YUCK and DEEVAH (since he's a part time player) ... that'll be some kinda line up to have instead of having Trent Taylor and Bourne FOR ANOTHER SEASON !!!

I agree, a number 1 wr is needed. Also, after the Seahawks game yesterday, all the people yelling about new mobile need to chill. Russ got beat by a nonmobile QB with a bad thumb, why? Because Russ has no O-line to protect him, sound familiar?

What if the Niners draft Pitts at 12 and wait for it... Kittle n' Pitts is born.

But seriously Shanny has been wanting to run two TE sets with us here from the beginning (rumors of him wanting to trade for Engram last year, give Kittle some rest, signing Reed, etc.) is something I can see happening.

He also wanted to sign Hooper this past off season as well
