2021 WRs-slot and otherwise

There's plenty of speed demon candidates at varying levels of "good."

Osirus Mitchell from Miss. St is intriguing to me with a 7th round pick or UDFA.

6'5, good after the catch, has some speed, very willing blocker, does well in contested catches. Needs some work on route running and his hands are solid but not excellent hence his draft slot.
I think SF is lacking a quick slot WR. Seems to be a lot of guys that can fit that mold and I figured we could start a thread and discuss.

Some names:

Shi Smith
D'Wayne Eskridge (can play all over)
Frank Darby
Eljiah Moore
Dazz Newsome
Rashod Bateman (can play all over)
Amari Rodgers
Tutu Atwell

I like Elijah Moore a lot. Really stepped up once AJ Brown and DK Metcalf left Ole Miss.

Bateman is my favorite on that list but I think he goes late 1st and even if we traded back I'd rather look at drafting elsewhere like CB, edge or OL.

Two guys I haven't seen discussed are TJ Vasher and Sage Surrat. Both guys have some dual sport basketball background.

TJ Vasher is ranked in the 300s because of poor production in 2020, so maybe he won't even get drafted. But I'd be happy to throw a 7th round pick at a 6'6" WR that runs a 4.5 and makes circus catches.

Sage Surrat also has nice size and speed. Seems more likely to get drafted than Vasher. But if he's there late could be a nice pick up.

Definitely wouldn't mind drafting 2 WRs, a slot guy in the 4th ( Amari Rodgers plz ) and a taller WR in the 7th ( Warren Jackson plz ) but I do like Surratt too,

Amari Rodgers and Warren Jackson would be fantastic.

I understand the need for a fast slot WR, I just think most of the guys I've looked at seem small. Amari isn't tall, but he's still physical.

I feel like we have a very similar WR in Deebo with Amari. D'Wayne Eskridge would be hot fire in this offense. He really improved his stock in the Senior Bowl though.
Favorite receivers so far: Tamorrion Terry, Dwayne Eskridge, Jaelen Darden, and Elijah Moore.
Cade Johnson can scoot! Watching some senior bowl stuff and he caught my eye. Has some Lockett to his game. super fluid.

I am in total "Squirrel!!!" mode with the WRs this year, so much to like
Just watched a bit of Jaelon Darden. And wow. I understand the Tyreek comparisons now. This guy looks like a future Chief unless we're smart enough to snag him.
Ihmir Smith-Marsette needs a lot more love on this board

Tyreek Hill will make players like Jaelon Darden go much earlier than they should. Every NFL team is looking for any talent that's close to Hill's and Darden is this year's.
I still want to see what Jalen Hurd and Juan Jennings can bring to the table
