You can have the all time GOAT OL, an All Pro at each spot and still have a crap offense if you have a limited QB like Mullens. You have a top notch QB, a crap OL and still have a high scoring offense because your QB is able to get the ball out fast and attack everywhere on the field.

In today's NFL, especially with all the rule changes and considering how many OL are coming out of college with limited pass blocking experience, QB still needs to be the first, second, third, fourth and fifth priority. After that you build your OL and DL.

In the end there needs to be a balance between the two and I'm willing to bet that with a much better QB, a line of Trent Williams-Tomlinson-rookie C-Brunskill-McGlinchey would be perfectly passable when the defense can't just crowd everything up front.

Take the *right* QB, otherwise fill another need/BPA.

The wrong QB sets us back another 3 years if you reach and take a Ponder or Gabbert, or even a Wentz, Turbisky, or Mariota.

This is why the Coach and GM get paid. Big time decisions, Jimmy G's inability to stay on the field will play a major part in the decision process.

LOL. I don't think Mullens is the QB option going forward. It's Garoppolo or a rookie or both. Mullens should be 3rd.

I'm sure his a great guy, but as a football player, rubbish! For sure his gone.

Too bad they didn't trade Mullens last off-season when he had some value.

If they have a shot at a legit QBoTF, they have to draft QB. They can get quality oline in the middle rounds and/or FA.

Whats going to complicate the question is CB. The secondary will be THIN next year.

Do whatever it takes to trade up for Zach Wilson.

He is really good but to trade up to the No 1 is incredibly expensive and likely impossible. Why should the Jets trade the pick?

There isn't any reason for the Jets or Jacksonville to trade their top pick.

QB - BUT it has to be the right guy not some average guy who falls to us.

If the QB isn't the pick the OLine or CB.

Watching the chiefs-Saints game and it's not Mahomes has a great OL, he's running for his life, get a QB with pocket presence, who is mobile and can extend plays aka Zack Wilson !!!!!

Trade for Jordan Love. pick IOL and CB with first 2 picks. Use pick from trading Jimmy G to pick DE while signing Justin Houston to a team friendly contract. Last sign Steelers OT in free agency
