Kellen Mond-QB-Texas A&M

  • 4-year starter at Texas A&M
  • Played in the toughest football conference
  • Improved every single year
  • Wins with his arm and legs
  • Senior Bowl MVP
  • Projected to be drafted on day 3

I've seen this movie before.

On a side note, I don't know what it is, but something about Mond reminds me of Kaepernick. No, it's not being a light-skin black dude. But something about him reminds me of Kap. I just can't put my finger on it.

Exactly what I thought the past 4 years

Its their bodies and they way they move. Very eerily similar

The long strides when he runs? The messed up throwing motion? Tendency to panic when getting blitzed?
Ravens should pick this guy up as Lamar's backup. Perfect pick for them

Hi Grant!
He sure looked good yesterday...strong, accurate throws and has nice mobility, too. If Shanalynch have their eyes on a future starter, they may trade for Cousins. He and Coach have a strong rapport. Mond would be a good addition...bigger, stronger b/u than we've had in some years.
I'll say this: Mond has elite arm strength.

The value is there for a day 2 or 3 pick.

That is a lot of velocity on some of those throws.
Got more than to watch on him and the others, but he could be a value pick for sure.
HAH!!

I had this kid very early as Shanny's project in the late 3rd, so I guess it could be safe to say that we can use that 3rd rounder reward or even the 4th rounder on drafting this kid or Ehlinger..

This
He does a fair amount of things Shanahan likes. We'll see if they consider taking a flier on him in the mid to late rounds -- if he's there.

What is your fascination with MEH-linger? He's more likely to be undrafted than 3rd round, IMO
Nope... don't want.

Well, the third strong position has to be improved, and so does the second assuming Mullens is gone (and really, he isn't much even for a backup).
