Paye reeks of Soloman Thomas. Great against the run but that's not what we need. Like I said before this is a bad edge class at the top. On the flip side corners, WRs, and T/Gs are very good. You don't sacrifice quality to draft a position.

I would be pissed if we drafted Paye.

That's the thing. If he's Thomas than nobody wants him lol

I'm just saying it's not clear cut. Thomas was on the top of all boards that draft and was considered safe. Its always a crapshoot.

I have to read up more, but people also say Paye has a good pass rush etc. I like Rousseau and he seems to be more of a pure rusher regardless which is what we need.

If the de's aren't worth it than take an offensive lineman. We have plenty of needs that match talent available around 12.

Solly's problem isn't his bend. It's his lack of no pass rush plan and hand technique. Dude literally works down the center of every tackle when he's playing edge. Also, a 6.5 3-cone blows Solly's 3-cone away lol.

I don't get this connection between Kwity and Solly. Kwity is a pure edge rusher that sometimes plays inside. Solly never played edge in college--ever. Kwity actually has a pass rush plan and hand technique.

I don't really see the similarity other than them being close size-wise but like you said, Thomas played inside all throughout college while Paye has been on the edge a lot. Paye's a lot more developed in terms of pass rush skillset, I think he'd be a perfect bookend for Bosa, you have a guy with top end athleticism who racks up QB pressures like crazy.
