Yeah WTF, so they are gonna have a full basketball tournement but are worried about groups of players running isolated tests and do interviews and medical tests... medical tests with medical professionals

I mean you can't exactly determine a tournament winner over zoom.
Most if not all teams use the actual combine footage moreso than what they see anyway at the combine. So what's the difference if the footage is from another isolated facility producing the same tests?
Medicals can be done remotely but they are allowing 2 Medical personnel there for that.
Interviews too can be done remotely.

Its part of the testing process and you absolutely can't get a vibe of a player over zoom vs in person when it comes to interviews. The drills are important and I want my scouts there so they can get as much information as possible. The combine is a low risk environment and basic mask use should allow it to run as it has for many decades.

No reason why they can't keep it the same way. Just test everyone and have all the non-participants wear their masks.

Other than Covid testing, they used to test for PEDs. I guess that's out of their hands now.

This news is horrible. Actually, its all the more reason that draft capital is somewhat useless now. They should give away all their draft picks and go for Deshaun Watson, or trade up with Miami for a QB.

My understanding is that instead of a mega combine, they'll have a series of regional combines and Pro Days. I don't see the big deal. As long as everything is held to the same standard and there is uniformity in measurements, it shouldn't be an issue.
