Jamie Newman is the best QB here today. Easily has the most arm talent of the QBs at @seniorbowl.

More on Newman and other notables in a look back at Day 1:https://t.co/As1mYWeABF
Was waiting to hear more about Newman. So disappointed he opted out this past season. I really wanted to see how he'd play in Georgia's offense.

He can separate and we already know he can track the deep balls. I wouldn't mind seeing him in a SF Jersey.
.@CowboyFB WR Tylan Wallace winning from the slot.

Outstanding job holding his "vertical stem". If he bends this too quickly across the field he's not creating that separation. @BenFennell_NFL has thrown out a Tyler Lockett comp in the past. That looks like Lockett there pic.twitter.com/gkRVcAiYRP
sign me up, Tyler Boyd 2.0 with better deep ball ability

Sounds like he was the best QB on the field yesterday

So does this throw the QB draft order into question?

The prospect that caught my eye the most on Day 1 was #NotreDame EDGE Ade Ogundeji. Still very raw and learning how to use his length, but at 6-4, 256 pounds with 35 1/4" arms, he's a highly intriguing Day 2 prospect.

Finished 8th in the country in pressures (43) last season.

Shi Smith one of the standouts from Day 1 at the Senior Bowl... Reminds me a ton of Emmanuel Sanders

Wasn't always the feature guy at SCAR (Deebo, Bryan Edwards, etc), didn't always have good QB connection, but he's lightening quick/strong hands.
Best football ahead of him... https://t.co/vvUoMtvFI4
seeing Crowder comps for Shi Smith as well...get ready for him to be linked to SF

Not the top 5 or 6 guys, no. He's got some real upside though. He transferred to Georgia but with covid and everything opted out. Wake Forest didn't do him any favors though. He's got some learning to do.
He could be a real steal and worth developing though...have him sit for a couple yrs behind a certain team that has a good vet QB in place (cough Stafford).

There were reports that he opted out because he was losing the QB starting job to JT Daniels. If that is really the case, I want no part of him, no matter the talent. That's a massive red flag.

Georgia fans flipped the f**k out over it. He didn't start bringing up COVID as an issue until Daniels started showing well, and then suddenly "well I'm afraid of getting sick." Ultimately I think he was just afraid of screwing over his draft status so instead he screwed over his team.
"We had to put him in Wake Forest stuff," Senior Bowl executive director Jim Nagy said. "If we put him in Georgia stuff …. the vitriol among DawgNation on Twitter has been unbelievable."
