When they gonna stop trying my man deep?

Unfortunately many of the best players opted out of the game. It's become some kind of status symbol to not play in bowl games. It started when a couple of guys that were expected to possibly go #1 overall decided not to risk getting hurt. Then they started falling like dominos. Every player wants to think they are too important to risk getting hurt. Then they go to the NFL and spend half their time on IR. I don't know how the NFL ever made it thru all those years when starters played in at least half of all 5 or 6 pre season games and top players played in bowl games to help their team win. I think too many of these guys are more worried about getting injured than they are about winning.

Is Meinerz wearing a do rag under his helmet?

A buddy/coworker of mine played D3 at Dubuque. I may or may not have helped him get hired because he played with my draft crush from a few years ago, corner back Michael Joseph

At the beginning of the week, I was talking with some co-workers about how Meinerz was getting some hype from reporters. My Dubuque buddy immediately interjected "Big Meinerz?! That dude is a dawg. I can pull up my Hudl and show you clips of him destroying my teammates". He was a player that made schools circle his name on the schedule, because they knew he was a real deal player

Jimmy Morrissey is a good late Day 3 Center to groom behind Alex Mack.

This draft is chalk full of great depth. You can give up a 1sts/2nd and next yr pick to go get a QB and STILL come away with potential starters
