What do you guys think of DeVonta Smith (WR) from Alabama? I know that we have both Aiyuk and Samuel, but with DeVonta he looks alot more polished than Bourne and would compliment our Offense with Jimmy G throwing to him...

I think he'll be awesome to get him since Deevah is just a PART TIME player... IF we aren't trading Grappy, I'd say we draft the best player available.. and if he's there, then DRAFT him...

I think he'll be drafted well before the 49ers are on the clock.

Yeah he will go well before 12. If he's there you run to the podium. Would immediately be our best receiver

I'm guessing the Fins will stick with Tua. Give him a healthy offseason and bring his Alabama teammate to be his WR1.
If not he is not getting past the Eagles who have passed on lots of WR talent the past 2 years.

Nope.
I like the player and I'd like another receiver. But not in the 1st. Or the 2nd for that matter. And I'm iffy on the 3rd.

Reasons for Smith:
1. He's really good. Potentially an All Pro caliber player.
2. We utilize our WRs so much that we need bodies. It seems like we're always down at least one or two of our starters.
3. He's a scheme fit
4. We could use a true deep threat
Ultimately I wouldn't draft him because I think we have too many other areas we need to address. This is a deep class for WRs and we currently have two solid starters. Smith wouldn't be the worst pick at all because he's tiers above the edge rushers IMO but I say pass.

So we would have spent a 2nd round and 2 1st round picks on WRs in a run based offense. That would make us the modern day Detroit Lions

no we have more pressing needs. O-line and D-line should be priority over WR.
