Interesting player who could make for a solid late pick or UDFA. 6'0", 245 TE/FB built like a brick s**thouse. JUCO transfer to Shaw, was originally a WR that switched to TE. I've been able to find incredibly little on him but what I've found seems to show a decent route runner, does a good job at getting up to pluck the ball out of the air and using his body to create separation. Definitely going to be a lot of level-of-competition questions but he's making the offseason all-star game circuit and has been doing well. Overall he appears to have the right size and explosiveness to be able to play TE or FB in this offense. He'd be an interesting developmental prospect if they opted to keep Juice. Very likely a practice squad guy considering the level of competition he's coming from but with real upside.
Shaw is a HBCU located in North Carolina. Their last drafted player was back in the 70s and they had one OL make a roster as a UDFA back in 2014 so it would be especially huge to see Moses make an NFL roster.
I'd like a player like this period, while still hoping we sign Juice. He's the type of player that you can probably sneak on a practice squad for 2 years. Then another year or 2 backing up Juice and ultimately taking over, provided the pick works out. Or if he develops quickly, we could potentially move on from Juice.
