Wyatt Hubert, EDGE, Kansas State

One of my favorite edge players on day 3. If you liked Chase Winovich, you'll like Hubert because he's got some of the qualities that made Chase stand out--All gas, no brakes energy; high-revving motor; consistent; intelligent; nasty. I don't think he's as fluid athletically as Chase was. Chase was bendier, but Hubert isn't a total stiff, either. He's got solid size at 6'3", 265 lbs but a CRIPPLING lack of length with 30-inch arms. I can't remember the last time a dude I liked had 30" arms lol. He's got a ton of moves in his arsenal, wins with a plan--speed, power, and counters. I didn't think his length was that detrimental given how effective he is with his hands. Timing, placement, and hand violence really mitigate his lack of length. I think he's pretty maxed out, so you're not going to get much upside when you draft him. That said, you know what you're getting--a guy that brings it on every snap. He'd be a great backup to Nick Bosa.

Whew, that longarm power rush. 30" arm length doesn't matter if you land first and get full extension. He put that right tackle on skates and drove that motherf**ker right into the QB. Beautiful.
