2021 Draft Crushes

Besides QB, the 49ers biggest needs this year are at edge, CB and IOL. Here are my three favorite prospects...

Edge: Azeez Ojulari Georgia 6'3" 240
Draft Projection: #15-30
NFL Comp: Healthy Dee Ford
Despite being just 20 years old, Ojulari is the draft's most advanced pass rusher. Combining a lightening-quick first step with heavy hands and a thoughtful approach, Ojulari is a terror off the edge. He graded as PFFs third-highest edge rusher this year, posting a 90.0 grade. So, why isn't a projected top 10 pick? Size. Ojulari comes in around 240 lbs and has a lot of room to improve vs. the run. At this point he's not an every-down player, but putting him opposite Nick Bosa and having him come screaming off the edge should give opposing QBs nightmares...

CB: Tyson Campbell Georgia 6'2" 185
Draft Projection: #25-50
NFL Comp: Less-polished Marlon Humphrey
Campbell may well be the most physically gifted CB in this draft class and that's saying something with guys like Farely and Surtain pushing him. Checking in at 6'2" with elite speed, Campbell is incredibly smooth with loose hips. He can shadow WRs all over the field and has also proven to be a very solid tackler. The big issue with Campbell is consistency. Scounts question his instincts and that's proven costly at times. If his mental game can catch up to his physical gifts he may be a true #1 CB for the 49ers.

IOL: Quinn Meinerz Wisconsin-Whitewater 6'3" 320
Draft Projection: Late 2nd / Early 3rd
NFL Comp: Ryan Jensen
Meinerz followed up a dominant DII college career by dominating at the Senior Bowl. He's got solid length to pair with a thick frame, giants hands and brute man strength. Perhaps most impressive are his feet; he's a dancing bear out there. I can see the 49ers plugging him into the starting RG spot and then rotating him over to Center longer term.
CB Caleb Farley
CB Kelvin Joseph
CB Kary Vincent Jr
S Jevon Holland
DE Quincy Roche
DE Wyatt Hubert
DE Chris Rumph Jr
LB Buddy Johnson
WR Amari Rodgers
WR Elijah Moore
WR Warren Jackson
C Josh Myers
G Deonte Brown
G Alaric Jackson
T Samuel Cosmi
TE Briley Moore
RB CJ Verdell

Just a couple lol

Didnt know where to put this but this was a great
OT Alijah Vera-Tucker USC
ILB Jabril Cox LSU
CB Ifeatu Melifonwu Syracuse
OG Quinn Meinerz Wisc./White
RB Kylin Hill
LB KJ Britt Auburn
TE Tre McKitty Georgia
DB Keith Taylor BYU
I like Meinerz. If he doesn't make it in the NFL he has a future in pro wrestling.
Not including QBs?

Azeez Ojulari
Rashawn Slater
Jaycee Horn
Ronnie Perkins
Paulson Adebo (Stanford bias lol)
Chazz Surratt
Najee Harris

Najee Harris is my guy this year. Mostert is on the wrong side of 30 and Wilson is a solid complimentary back, but we need another horse in the stable. Harris is a going to be an absolute star in the league and would flourish in this offense. Super want him.

I want this beast on our team. I dont know how he would fit but I'd find a way.

He's LT reincarnated. just in how much he wrecks games.

Playmaker and hard hittin. Just filthy.

Did I mention, straight up wrecking fools

And to top it off, he can legit cover.

Whoever lands him we'll be getting an All-Pro game changer.

Man, if we get him I would cream my pants. I don't care at what spot lol

Imagine him playing a Kam Chancellor role, on a single high defense
